Pottery Wheels

The Pugmill is a distributor of Australian made Venco Pottery Wheels as well as Japanese imported Shimo Pottery Wheels and the NEW Quark wheels.

Pugmills

Used in ceramics to reclaim, recycle, and condition clay — making scraps or dry clay more uniform, workable, removing air (if de‑aired), etc. Venco has been making pugmills since 1983.

Slab Rollers

Used in ceramics to roll out clay into even, flat slabs of a controlled thickness. This is very useful for hand‑building, tiles, construction of larger pieces, etc. Venco (an Australian manufacturer of pottery equipment) makes a couple of slab roller models that cater from home potters up to high‑usage/educational/studio settings.
